Privacy Policy

Effective July 14, 2026 · Last updated July 14, 2026

The short version

The only personal information Dukron News collects is your email address, and only when you choose to subscribe. We use it exclusively to send you Dukron marketing emails — our newsletters, editorial highlights and occasional product announcements. We never sell it, never share it with third parties for their own marketing, and never use it for anything else. Everything else (your theme, saved stories, reading history) stays in your own browser.

1. Who we are

Dukron News ("Dukron", "we") publishes crypto, markets and money coverage at this site. For anything related to this policy, contact us at privacy@dukron.news.

2. What we collect, and why

Your email address (newsletter signup). When you subscribe to a Dukron newsletter or use the Subscribe button, we collect your email address. We use it for one purpose only: sending you Dukron marketing emails, such as our newsletters (The Daily Sauce, Alpha Brief, Zero to Crypto), editorial highlights and occasional announcements about Dukron products. We do not sell your email address, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Preferences stored in your browser. To make the site work the way you left it, we keep a few settings in your browser's local storage: your theme (light or dark), your edition (Global, Americas, Europe, Asia), stories you save with the star, a local count of stories you open (used to rank the "Most Read" list on your device), and your chosen weather city. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

What we don't do. We do not set tracking cookies, run advertising trackers, build behavioral profiles, or use third-party analytics on this site.

3. Live data loaded from other services

To show live prices, news, scores and weather, pages on this site fetch data directly from public services: CoinGecko and Stooq (prices and indices), CryptoCompare, CoinStats, Messari and GDELT (news), publisher RSS feeds fetched via rss2json, AllOrigins and corsproxy.io, Reddit (community posts), ESPN (sports scores) and Open-Meteo (weather). These requests are made by your browser, directly to those services — the same as visiting their sites — so they may see your IP address and browser details, governed by their own privacy policies. We receive nothing from these requests.

4. How we use your email

5. Legal basis and your choices

We send marketing email only with your consent, which you give by subscribing, and which you can withdraw at any moment by clicking unsubscribe in any email or writing to privacy@dukron.news. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect your use of the site in any way.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed from our marketing list. You can also ask us at any time what information we hold about you (for most readers: one email address, or nothing).

7. Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

Questions? Write to privacy@dukron.news — we answer within a few days.
Note: this site is currently a prototype. Subscription forms do not yet transmit data anywhere; this policy describes how your data will be handled once they do.
